Choosing Your Session Length

  • 60–75 minutes: A good fit for one or two areas you would like to focus on.

  • 75–90 minutes: Recommended when you have multiple areas you would like addressed.

  • Longer sessions: Consider booking additional time for persistent tension, soreness, or areas that may benefit from more focused attention.

Finding Your Rhythm

Every 1–3 weeks
This rhythm can be especially supportive for clients with persistent tension or chronic discomfort, as well as those who are athletic, play sports, enjoy outdoor activities, work out regularly, or are seeking bodywork support during recovery from an accident or surgery.

Every 2–5 weeks
This is often a great fit for people in their busy, productive working years who want to make self-care part of their regular routine. These sessions give us the opportunity to continue addressing chronic areas of concern while helping you stay active and supported in the things you need—and love—to do.

For longstanding aches, pains, or areas of chronic tension, some clients choose to begin with a few sessions in consecutive weeks. This can create a more consistent foundation before moving into a regular maintenance plan.

Your well-being comes first. If you are feeling great and would like to increase the time between sessions, we can always adjust your schedule to fit what feels best for you.

Recent Injuries & Post-Surgical Care

When working with a recent injury, I use significantly lighter pressure and choose gentle techniques intended to support comfort and circulation, rather than deep structural work. Depending on the situation, we may avoid the injured area and surrounding tissues altogether to help prevent further irritation.

For post-surgical care, I prefer to have your doctor’s clearance before working near the surgical area. I will not work over areas with stitches or staples, and any incision must be fully healed before I work directly in that specific area.
